alright, i finished Kingdom. Maaaaaaaaan. i am mixed. i thought it was really good on almost every artistic level. i loved the characters and the acting... by the end, every single main character had grown on me (jay being my favorite). i enjoyed it, i really did. even the ending worked well for me. there was a lot if unresolved stories in the last season, but i think the show was canceled before they could wrap up the dom, terry, king beast stuff, alvey’s neurological stuff. what really kept me mixxed about the show is the amount of drama they dragged their characters through. like they were all in a state of perpetual torture culminating in intense tragedy. i get it. the show was designed to be a tough, brutal, tragedy for the characters...but damn it was a lot of shit sit through. hahaha, i guess i liked the characters so much i just wished that they got better than they did. sad show. but very well made and i am glad i watched it.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it man. It’s one of those shows that drains you, but at the same time you don’t want tit to end. I’m watching banshee now. So far it’s decent if you’re looking for something new to watch. Take care fren.
yeah exactly, i am really going to miss those characters. i felt like i went on a really hard journey with them. i saw banshee. i liked the first couple of seasons. the show i really enjoyed watching was Warrior. it is a kung fu western done right. a few ‘woke’ parts but it is easy enough to ignore. take it easy!
thanks for the heads up on how wild it is. sounds like great late night watching. i’m excited to watch it.
NP man. Let me know your honest opinion when you get a chance.
