Why would blmantifa riot now? Think about it, it’s probably going to be a minor disturbance at best, this time, the true believers will try to cause some damage but I guarantee it will not be anywhere near the scale of last summer. They will be easily and quickly put down after a little show of virtue, I’m sure.
Why? Trump was the target of last summers riots. Now there’s nothing political to gain, it would only harm the Dominioncrats at this point.
Consider the cost of the riots last summer. You have to recruit an army of meth and heroin addicts and bus them around, put them up in hotels or tents depending, feed them a LOT of drugs and a little food, pay off the judges, the DAs, the cops, the politicians, do a shit ton of marketing.. this all costs hundreds of millions of dollars, especially to hide it and make it appear “organic”. Where does that much money come from and who is going to pony up that much when the only political damage will be to “your side”?
The people causing the majority of the damage were not activists, they were opportunistic criminals. People were driving into Minneapolis from out of state to break shit and steal stuff. They could've done that anywhere, but Minneapolis was where the the party was at, and was where they would be able to get away with it.
Many of these people are not politically motivated. For them it was never about black lives or George Floyd. The activists start the unrest and the opportunists finish it. A precedent has been set, and the opportunists will be back in full force as soon as the verdict hits.
