They've got more than a foothold. They've got the whole damn thing - including the """law enforcement"""" branch - to act as their thugs and enforcers.

That's why I bristle when supposed allies criticize what occurred at the capitol - a complete purge is needed and grift-bux talking heads aren't going to change a damn thing.
