It's how politicians become rich. They go to Washington with good intentions (some of them), then they get compromised and then sucked into the swamp by the Swamp Witch (Pelosi). By which they become dependent on the money and the power, neither of which they are willing to relinquish now or larter at all costs. Hence, they get kickback, extortion money from the American taxpayer.
