The whole conservative movement is centered around talking a big game, but folding like a cheap suit with a mindset of "losing with honor" or "we will get them next time by golly!".
Trump is more of a nationalist/ populist moderate if it comes down to it. He was not some right wing banner carrier. 50yrs ago he would he a JFK democrat. Trump was far from perfect and played nice with the swamp and rioters far more than I preferred. Especially with budgets. But, he exposed the whole swamp for what it is and didnt get us into any new wars. Him simply pushing for new trade deals and a border wall was more than what anyone in DC have done in the last 40yrs.

I feel that Trump only played the moderate card worrying about reelection. I was hoping second term trump would be a capitalist savage.
