The problem is most people don't pay federal taxes, and an awful lot get the EIC which is just a cash windfall just for being working age poor with kids. Basically it's a bribe to ensure people keep filing, no matter what. What would really cripple shit is if business owners would wake up, band the fuck together and STOP COLLECTING STATE TAXES. The states will immediately break and appeal to Uncle Sugar for more money (while making a big show of jailing a few mom and pops), and the fed will oblige the bailouts will accelerate dramatically thereby forcing a reckoning with all the BS much faster. Any small biz owners rounded up as a result should immediately be broken out of prison forcibly by the people, better yet when they show up to arrest them to begin with engage the authorities in combat to keep them from being taken into custody.
