You do understand Pelosi is a rep for Northern California, yeah? And Diane Feinstein in the Senate? NorCal will have Sacramento and SF in it, if the state split, they're at least half the problem. Ca is the furthest thing from 'KICK ASS" I can think of.
And man, just so happens I'm in the ONLY far left county in all of upstate NY... The rest are RED.
Fml lol. I swear I'm gonna leave NY. If the past few years never happened, I'd honestly have stayed here my whole life.
I used to like where I live. I HATE IT NOW!
Total shit hole. Ghetto. Hoodrats everywhere. Constantly dealing with ghetto bullshit for no reason.
My property in the city is loaded with hoodrats litter every other day which I have to clean up. Syringes from drug addicts going into the backyard.
Break ins. Robberies. Ect.
Where I live, my city home, a rental in the making, was robbed by two heroin addicts.
The cops didn't even bother to go into my home to look for fucking evidence! I found a oil bottle weeks later hidden by one of the robbers.
Contacted the man's family, and they said "yup, he robbed is too. He's a drug addict. We will back you up to get him arrested. He needs it".
Well, cops won't do shit.
Yet, where I live, in a nice, but still far left town bordering the city, if someone broke into my home here, the cops would dust for finger prints, search for evidence, and go issue warrants.
. Fuck American inner cities. They are shit holes.
I HATE NY. Our laws and reps are garbage. I want to live in a deeply conservative state like Oklahoma, close to Texas, but not in Texas.
Texas is getting too many California liberals... Although, if I move to Texas, I can help keep it red for longer.
But Texas also has expensive cost of living. Oklahoma is DIRT CHEAP.
Where I live now, I have about the 3rd highest tax rate to property value in all of americas counties.
A house worth $100,000 in my town costs $5,000+ per year in taxes alone, and the liberals who run shit propose 4% tax raises every year or two!
Fuck liberals. Ruining all of our once amazing cities!
Ok I actually live in California and some of the comments here are just wrong. The Bay Area is technically part of Northern California, but it's considered its own area geographically. Once you get above Sacramento, the demographics start turning red.
The central valley and Sierras are also considered their own areas, and both are much more conservative.
Southern California has lots of little conservative enclaves around and in Orange County. This is overshadowed by the giant open sewer trench known as LA, of course.
Finally you have the San Diego area which is simultaneously hugely patriotic with military bases and teeming with humans being trafficked into the country.
As for anyone still dumb enough to think people like Pelosi and Feinstein are truly elected, wake the fuck up. My vote has been stolen a lot longer than yours.
As I lifelong Californian, this synopsis is quite accurate. Would only add that Mexican residents, being largely Catholic lean hella Conservative but also believe CA is a part of Mexico, so support democrat sanctuary immigration policies in order to completely conquer the state.
There's no official borders of what is considered NorCal, but it's usually described as the northern 48 counties, starting around Fresno or San Loius Obisbo, so yes, SF is part of NorCal. And, the "broken down" counties you're referring to are the northeastern ones, which are red, but parsley populated.
You don't have to remind me that CA and NY have conservatives, I grew up in NY, and moved to CA in high school. And have returned lo live in NY for 4 years, later on.
it's usually described as the northern 48 counties, starting around Fresno or San Loius Obisbo,
Native Californian here and I would totally disagree with that description. I'd agree that "Southern California" unofficially starts there, but the inverse isn't true. I'd say then you're into the "Central Coast" and the "Bay Area" before getting to anything I'd call "Northern California."
Fresno is not Nor Cal. It's central valley about 120 miles south of San Jose, which is south Bay Area and bigger than Fresno. Do you actually live in CA?

Isn't it great to basically rent the house you paid for from the government? Property tax is such bs, especially when it is squandered.
Seriously! Property tax shouldn't exist for your primary residence.
For owning multiple properties as a business? Sure, maybe. But even then... Idk.
Property tax is bogus. We can't own property in America.
Property tax and income tax shouldn't exist. Other taxes I understand. Not all, but many.
Those two should be abolished. If a state abolished those two taxes, I'd move there!
Really?
San Francisco is northern California? I thought Northern California was mostly made up of broken down counties?
There are greats kick ass parts of every single state.
The bulk of each states counties are very conservative. Including NY and Cali! Remember, majoorty are leftists in these two states...
But there are still millions of very based folks here too.

im from so far north in Cali that i consider San Fran to be southern Ca. long fucking state. behind the redwood curtain is another world
SF and Sacramento are middle Cal. OP is talking about the state of Jefferson Nor. Cal.
You're right about San Fran! My geography is bad, as I've never visited Cali!
I was under the impression that the bulk of Northern Cali is red though, is this false?
Top Right Corner is very Red.
Eastern NorCal is red, but it's low population, so it doesn't have much power. Coastal Norcal is all blue.

The bulk of the population in NorCal is in SF and the East Bay, Sacramento, and outlying cities like Fresno.

'South Bay Area" - not part of NorCal. You sure that's the hill you want to die on?
I urge you to look at a map. And then look up the definition of "Northern California". And then edit your post.

And yes, I live in CA. Have since 1980, except for 4 years when I moved back to NY.
But please, keep telling me I'm wrong about something I've been aware of for 40 years.
