I really don't care if someone wants to change their gender. Personally, I think it's fucked up, but ultimately, I don't care what someone else does to their own body. Just leave me alone and shut the fuck up about it. It's none of my business, and who I prefer to date is nobody else's business. Disclaimer: I'm happily married, coming up on 30 years, so I don't date any more, but you know what I mean.
Blair is a lone voice of reason in an extremely fucked up demographic. And, looking at her, I'm ever so thankful to not be trying to date in this fucked up day and age.
Forgive me for the inadvertant GnR reference, but there is no 'live and let live'. It's a passive idea doomed to be superceded by an active idea. Live and let live and people destroy themselves, but not before convincing you that you're evil for trying to stop them. And not before they themselves throw out 'live and let live' whenever it serves them to corrupt others.
And a society made up of people that destroy themselves is as bad if not worse than a society made up of people that destroy each other.
