I wonder what it's like to start a business and become successful enough to have your product at a grocery store, then the grocery store decides to mar your brand with segregation/racism. And I bet the millennial marketing team that came up with this idea thought it was genius/"equitable."
I've never care either, but if they're going to start pointing it out, I'm going to support my own people...
Why not? They do.
Actually, if my grocery store starts doing this, I'll just leave, and stop at the manager's booth on the way out to let them know why I'm not shopping there any more. I'm not shopping at a racist grocery store. I don't know what their intention is with all this, but pointing out the skin color of the food manufacturer owners is nothing but racism, and so is patronizing any such establishment.
Greensboro, NC, has a MWBE (Minority and Women owned Business E(something) program where they pander to business owned by women and blacks for city construction bids. Racism and sexism all in one.
I like how they claim America and all white people are evil and racist but then think putting "black owned" on something would result in MORE people buying it and not LESS
They battle about labeling products (specifically meat) from raised/harvested/processed/shipped etc but have no problem being racists cunts by spending their money pandering to other racists. 🙄
You'd think the majority of black people would see this and a lightbulb would go off...wanna know why it's not a problem? Black people actually need racism, they want to keep it alive because it gives them that excuse, that reason to hate and blame. It's going nowhere as long as they can benefit from it - and they do.

What store is this so I can ask them to kindly direct me to the white owned products?
Seriously, what store is this so I can avoid them.
All white owned products are labeled by, not being labeled.
I find this horrifying. Shit like this will be featured in history books 50 years from now like the whites/blacks only water fountains.
Only if we pull out of this tailspin. That's a big if after the past12 months.
I never really cared who owned a company but since black-owned is forced in my face-Goya looks good

No need to doxx yourself, basically every local government has this
I don't live there. I live near Greensboro, but not in Greensboro. I don't even live in the same county.
GOYA FTW ALL THE TIME. Anyone who supports Trump has my support.
Need beans? Goya. Rice? Goya. Lady fingers for making the world's best tiramisu? Goya. (yes they make lady fingers)
Their rice is really good. If you can find their Spanish Rice mix its freaking amazing.
This will be helpful during boycotts.
The next logical step will be instituting minimum buys
Like a vlubs 2 drink minimum policy except you'll be called racist and you'll have to buy things you probably aren't interested in
Well since you’re visiting from the future, don’t tell them about how dating apps work now 😱
I don’t give a fuck... I’m so tired of this man... this shit is exhausting. These mother fuckers are forcing us to choose a side...
Not in the n/o wo
Same. Even Goya products
I have a feeling Goya would not like seeing their products labeled like this
I like how they claim America and all white people are evil and racist but then think putting "black owned" on something would result in MORE people buying it and not LESS
Hate whitey!
Black made teriyaki rice will pass its expiration date on the shelf and be donated to black hood soup kitchens
How the fucking hell did it ever come to this?

I will never EVeR spend my white devil dollars on a black owned business thanks to these labels..
White-owned?
