Man did the X Files make those people look so much different than they really are. And the harm they do.

That was the purpose of network TV. You think they get to use those logos for free. It's PR.

Oh yeah I am fully aware I was raised by alot of propaganda on tv and in public school. But when you learn that you were lied to the whole house of cards starts to fall. I see the world like I'm wearing those sunglasses Roddy Piper had in They Live

I think it started to get bad under Clinton, worsened under Bush, and then went full retard under the full retard.

I got to experience the wonder of No Child Left Behind, Common Core, and liberal college professors screeching at me about Trump for 4 years.

It’s a miracle I have free thought!

Don't forget Bush 41 was CIA director and was high ranking in the U.S. Liaison Office to the People's Republic of China.

If someone described a country where the top spy was elected President, then eight years later his son become President and he was followed by a first term Senator with a secret/hidden background.......yeah.

I'm not sure it started under Clinton.

I suspect it's always been this way.

In the age of the internet, more of us can tell.

Mccarthy wasn't wrong that Hollywood was full of commies.

and what is it now?

Why do you think I don't have a TV in my apartment, and have never owned one?

1
RegularAmerican 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think like the Internet it's poison depending on the kind of doses you're taking. Tv should not be navigated by a child. I don't think TV is bad inherently. Like if it were just andy griffith re runs it would be fine

I am 99.99% certain that the FBI/CIA pays Hollywood to make them look good.

Totally!

There are WAY too many spy/CIA movies, and WAY too many cop TV shows.

I never questioned why until a few months ago, after learning how the CIA heavily invested in Hollywood since the CIA's inception.

Would be no surprise if the FBI did the same thing.

I’m pretty sure the FBI also gets to read scripts too.

I’ve got Mike Dice’s Hollywood Propaganda next on the reading list 🤓

We'll expect a full book report.

There is a big report out there about the how the military influences Hollywood.

Oh sure, it's not mutually exclusive.

I read sometime ago that the intel agencies usually play a role in what scrips get approved, and if they are major blockbusters, or big budge productions they tweak things to their liking, but that has been going on since forever. Cold war programming, Russia Russia Russia, is no different. Today though they no longer seem to care what we think of them, they just plough forward with their agenda.

I wonder what movie is most accurate about the FBI?

Probably a tranny porn movie?

The one about Whitey Bulger and the FBI paying mass murderers and just generally being indistinguishable from organized crime.

Plus having Mueller in charge of things.

Of all the accounts I've read over the years, the FBI/DEA/ATF are indistinguishable from any other gangs, except they are better funded, and immune from prosecution.

They've committed countless murders, moved drugs, broken into homes, burglarized, robbed, kidnapped, extorted, and every other crime imaginable.

And not in some roundabout stretching the law sort of way either.

They're less honorable than real organized crime in my opinion, because at least real criminal organizations play with risk.

The Departed.

Great movie.

Better theme song.

7
Fenianlad 7 points ago +7 / -0

Black Mass. The Departed is loosely based on it. Black Mass was the real story about Bulger and FBI “Agent” John Connolly who basically ran cover for Bulger for years.

X Files was most accurate....

X Files spent every fucking second showing how corrupt and evil the FBI and government were. And further, Scully was the perfect representation of a dumb ass liberal who saw facts with her own eyes but denied them and went with the party line. The show literally had government murdering and abducting people and they used scully to spy on Mulder to ensure the truth wouldn't get out.

The show is a picture perfect representation for how our government and how the FBI actually operates.

Bones too. I used to think “Muh rank in file” like Sean Hannity. Nah. They’re complicit in this illegitimate government and only serve the DNC. Fuck em
