Its an argument that if made before the Overton window has sufficiently shifted, destroys their moral credibility. If we pre-empt the argument by parodying it now, people will see the absurdity when the argument gets made in earnest.
Defending Pedophilia is actually picking up steam in some circles because the defense for it is internally sound with the justification for the more extreme in-your-face trans arguments that are being made.

From a leftist point of view the agrument against might be something like sexual encounters between children and adults negatively impact psychological development of children and leads to negative outcomes later in life.
Though I can't say if a leftist would argue this because promoting sexual preferences takes precedence over negative social outcomes.
The leftist academics also like to produce studies that reinforce a priori beliefs by omitting data that counters their belief rather than draw conclusions from studies.

In all seriousness, though, I think what you are asking is what justification a leftist could provide for pedophilia DESPITE our cultural norms being firmly against it. The acceptance of pedophilia is a logical requirement of leftists since they deny every other reality out there, as well. To do otherwise puts their whole system of beliefs into question.
