i mean, what they are doing is dumb, but in your screenshot it literally says proceeds are donated, so they aren't getting a profit. they should've just done that with all these other books.
That they are charging about $15 more for and I don't see anything about proceeds being donated on this one. Point stands. Profiting off LIterally Hitler.
i hate to be a nitpicker, but i think the reason this link isn't donated is because it is another author that is analyzing each part of mein kampf...kind of like when you put notes in the margin of a textbook, just done more professionally, so it's technically a different book, and not the original.
but your point still stands. amazon is picking and choosing what is accepted, when they should just let it all go, and let the consumers dictate what sells and what doesn't. they can always do the donation thing on the books they don't want to be associated with. it's dumb that they just unilaterally decide some stuff isn't acceptable, and other stuff is.
All I see is Amazon profiting off Hitler. I get your point. You're technically right in both comments. I also noticed that after I posted the comment too.
I still stand by all my points anyway. Because fuck Amazon, and given their participation in cancel culture, as a woke company I can apply woke-principals and simplify the issue to Amazon is profiting off of literally Hitler. That's how the fake woke culture handles literally every issue. lol
They'll ban books by people like Bannon or any influential conservative figure who they deem harmful towards their cause. Even milque-toast convservative thought is dangerous to leftwing ideology... because our economics are based in Milton Friedman while there's are based on couch surfing marx .
However, actual Nazi books... Amazon has no problem with those. Actual Nazism isn't politically attractive. It's authoritarian nonsense as despicable as communism(or nearly as).

Good point.
I should have used this copy: https://www.amazon.com/Adolf-Hitlers-Mein-Kampf-Bibliography/dp/1533484155/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=mein+kampf&qid=1615251948&sr=8-2

Great catch though, pede!
