But Samson didn't have Children or a Wife that could be used against him. We currently have reasonable evidence that if Trump pulled any funny business in his last few months, the Deep State would kill him and others in his family.

Some Fellow, from the WH, said that the Secret Service told Melania that if Trump managed to get his 2nd Term from Joe Biden (don't ask me how), the Secret Service "Wouldn't be able to protect him", and by extension his Family.
