And yes, I know many believe that Xiden won't let us go without a fight, but once people vote to secede and get their hearts and minds focused on a fresh new start, any attempt of violence by Xiden will be met with a whirlwind of righteous fury.
Not only that, it gives people something to rally around, and makes it easier to fight because people will be defending their new country against foreign aggression, vs the situation right now where we'd basically be terrorists.
