I was thinking we could be the SSGL community. Super Straights Gays and Lesbians. I feel like this - our own four-letter acronym - would really drive the Alphabets insane. The funny thing is we could also tell them “This👏is👏what👏progress👏looks👏like.” And that, “LGBT served its role, but it is a relic of 20th century thinking. SSGL is the natural evolution of the sexuality community. I mean, just look at how archaic LGBT is. They include Bi, which perpetuates the gender binary, which has been thoroughly debunked, and some of these people even go so far as to call people ‘queer’, or the Q-word, an infamous 20th century homophobic slur. SSGL has none of these problems. It is simply more modern, open-minded, and progressive.”
