Honestly, I never gave enough of a damn about her in the first place to listen long enough to give her a fair shot. but, now that I've listen to her be genuine (or at least to show everyone who she wants them to think she genuinely is) - I honestly dislike her. I sincerely hope that no matter what crowd she ends up hobnobbing with, that she will never achieve a position of actual influence.
I get no impression that she had any inclination to “try”with the royals. Hell, I don’t know how much I care for them per se, but I’d still accord some deference and respect to the royal family. She claims that it seemed oppressive, but there was no “kneel or we’ll run you through”. I think her trashy lack of class did all the thinking for her.
Watching The Crown obsessively has taught me that everyone curtsies to the Queen, even her children. Well, not her husband and sister and "Mummy" but everyone else.
