This is why government is a waste of money. These new rules weren't some Trump policy position. It wouldn't have mattered if Hillary was President, the old Obama-era rules were going to fall. They were losing in court and would have been struck down by the courts if not for the DoE withdrawing them.

You can't just ignore due process entirely, despite what liberals want to do. The Biden admin is going to spend millions of dollars in man hours withdrawing these rules, replace them with rules from the USSR justice system and then spend another few million defending those rules in courts, where they'll lose again, before eventually arriving back at the DeVos rules. But, now they'll be the Biden rules so they'll be okay.
