Traveled to Hawaii: had to go through 3 sets of full stops after deplaning. 1st w/ airline personnel - checking to make sure I filled out appropriate hawaii.gov paperwork. 2nd w/ airport podium guy - I was to ask where I would be staying, and because it wasn’t any resort, rather with a family member; I had to call them on the phone, and he had them verify the address that I put on the electronic form. Then I waited in another line. 3rd w/ National guard - this was to verify another online form for the specific island I was visiting After verifying that information, he called over a police officer, they looked at my paperwork, and whispered a few words. (I was at the January 6 event, so I thought they were going to pull me aside to interrogate me lol!). After all that. They said I could be on my way. I have to quarantine for 10 days. The National Guard visited my location two times in the first five days, to ensure I had not left the quarantine area. This is madness! (on a sidenote, the property is beautiful, they have over an acre of land - so I am not suffering by any means). But seriously folks! I just about lost it trying to get through the airport. And just think, there are actual people out there that think this is OK. It’s a sad day for America!

Wait hold up they followed you to quarantine ?
No. The people that are my family picked me up at the airport and took me to the house. But the very next day 12 noon the national guard came and checked to make sure I was still quarantining. Two days later right around 12 noon stopped by again, to see if I was still quarantining. I answered the door before they even got to it. The woman national guard person saw me and she just waved and said thanks have a great day. We never know when they’re going to show up, so leaving it is frowned upon! Or just not smart at all let’s put it that way.
What would they do if you tried to leave ?
Arrest, criminal offense, $5000, up to a year in jail. I don’t have the exact paperwork in front of me right now, so that could’ve changed from a couple months ago, but that’s what I found online.
