If you cannot find a "manufactured in" or "made in" indicator then look to see if it has a "distributed by". If it has a "distributed by" but no manufacturer listing, then it is more than likely made in china, even if it is not distributed by China. Otherwise, they would just tell you where it's made from.

Yep, they're getting sneakier and sneakier. Even your pet food is oftentimes made in China or other countries with lower food and manufacturing standards. It's completely ridiculous to think something as basic as your food or your pet's food is actually being made in a facility overseas with God knows who is or isn't overseeing the production and how they actually feel about you. Food should always be as local as possible, along with many other things.

Yeah, I've been going to my local supermarket. A lot of it's stuff are from local or nearby states. I pay a dollar or two more but my conscience is worth that. I'm poor AF so if I can do it, anyone can. I'm tired of hearing the cost-effective convenience excuse for stores like Walmart.
