I like my pastor. He's based and his church is open for business; masks not required. At least once every few sermons he calls out other pastors who teach "feel good," "hot tub" Christianity. He's even preached about how some people worship their denomination and their rituals instead of worshipping God.
I think one day he nearly turned his congregation pale by saying "You can think good thoughts and go straight to hell!...don't look at me that way, it's right here in the Bible!"

Hey, I've noticed that. It seems that to many church goers, the church is the primary focalpoint of their spiritual lives, and not God.
