certainly not modern women. was a single father for 2 years and basically gave up on women after my dating experiences. ex just straight up said I don't wanna be a mom anymore you take her. then signed custody papers. This was after extreme emotional and physical abuse. the bitch literally hit me with a car while pregnant and said what will you do, send your pregnant woman to jail? then cheated on me asking if i would really leave her and my daughter. every moral sacrifice and personal injury was so my daughter would never be alone with that demon.

My mom said I'm better at raising kids than most women she ever met so fuck if I know what's real. just doing the needful for my kid ya know.

have a loving wife now though who basically wrangled me in and showed she could be a fantastic mother and loving woman. so they aint all bad. just rare these days. she was incredibly persistent and when I asked why she would take the responsibility of being with a man who didn't trust women, was a single dad living with his parents since he couldn't put a roof over our heads on his own yet. she just said "I knew what I wanted and you are a good man, despite what you seem to think about yourself". life saving words at the time honestly.
