Exactly! While funny it is a double edged sword as this implies if someone identities simply as "straight" they are into trannies too.

Maybe we need a word for those. Semi-straight? Trannie-straight? Attracted-to-anything-that-identifies-as-the-opposite-sex-straight? A bi-sexual with internalized homophobia?
