In alot of fantasy stories, most of the land is ruled by humans. Destructive, brash, unenlightened, ignorant, easily corruptible.

Compared to humans, elves are elegant, intelligent, powerful, possess magic and are unmatched in combat.

I always wondered how the hell it was the elves that were the ones pushed out of society and into their own little secluded corner. Im starting to see how.
