Consistently throwing money at failed states/cities isn't going to make them stop failing; it is only hurting everyone else in the country.

19
standonthewall 19 points ago +20 / -1

Patriots should wake up to the fact that the Democrats are at war with their opponents. Send the money to patriot causes the same way the Democrats do if there is ever another chance.

23
War_Hamster 23 points ago +23 / -0

Or, and hear me out, we could just permanently do away with pork spending?

29
Foreign_Aid_is_Theft 29 points ago +29 / -0

The government should not:

  1. Give to "charity", private sector is just as good at poorly allocating that money

  2. Give to foreign countries, it should only be in the form of loans

  3. Give to a NGO that has even a tangential relationship to anyone elected or unelected in government.

  4. Contract work based on anything other than quality/cost measures (no more bullshit diversity scores)

  5. Allocate ANY funds to States other than for things outlined in the Constitution for which the Federal Government has power over such as interstate commerce and defense.

8
FOUR_MORE_TERMS 8 points ago +8 / -0

Disagree. Government should give money to conservative causes and only conservative causes. It's time we start abusing the system like they do.

4
Foreign_Aid_is_Theft 4 points ago +4 / -0

Government is just an extra step in the process and at gunpoint. But I get your point.

3
Joesf23 3 points ago +5 / -2

No no no. We must take the high road and keep losing with honor so we dont scare the normies! We will vote them out next time, just keep donating more money!

15
BarrysCellM8 15 points ago +15 / -0

How about a legitimate nation wide tax refusal by conservatives...? Why are we constantly forking over our hard earned $ so the degenerate left can just suckle at the teet of the taxpayer? After a year of them telling us we are all 'non-essential', our families and livelihoods are worthless in their eyes, why keep giving them $.

10
War_Hamster 10 points ago +10 / -0

This isn't a new idea, but the problem is who is going to lead the way and get the 3:00 AM knock on the door?

That said, if I'm correct about State Nullification, one of DC's first responses will be to halt transfer payments to the States. The States will respond by halting Federal tax payments from their sovereign territories. So you'll get your wish.

Personally, I'd say we should go all the way and knock off all spending that isn't specially fulfilling the central government's primary mission; to protect our Natural Rights.

Oh, and repeal the 16th Amendment. And the 17th.

15
BarrysCellM8 15 points ago +15 / -0

You don't need a person to 'lead the way', you need someone like Trump to pump the idea. If 70 million people recognized the illegitimacy of their government and just stopped paying taxes, the federal government would have nowhere near enough man power to go door to door to 'collect'. Its time we stop promoting the idea that we are going to be able to accomplish anything without force, we are not. If they are going to send the tax man after you and yours, after generations of tax abuse, that should be seen as a direct threat to you and your family, a threat which should be answered with extreme prejudice.

Your kidding yourself if you think any representative, regardless of how red your state is, is going to withhold federal tax payments. That kind of pushback needs to come from the grass roots. And yes, people are going to have to come to the realization that armed resistance is a mandatory action or we are just going to be complaining about it until the idea of personal property is just a dream from a bygone era.

3
War_Hamster 3 points ago +3 / -0

Under State Nullification, no Federal Agents will be operating in the "rebellious" states.

Keep beating the drums for Civil War all you want. I appreciate the spirit behind it and if it ever does come down to that undesirable outcome, I'm confident you and I will have commonality.

But please hear this; I'm not debating what should happen. I'm telling you what is actually already happening on the ground by the grass roots Patriots all across the nation. The path forward has already been committed to, and banging the war drums is counter-productive.

7
Joesf23 7 points ago +8 / -1

Im fine with doing away with the federal government entirely. What does it do for us other than steal our money and shit on us every chance it gets?

7
War_Hamster 7 points ago +7 / -0

It's supposed to protect our Natural Rights, first and foremost. This means it should be externally focused and keep its grubby hands off internal matters, with a few exceptions.

It also has a role in settling interstate disputes.

It most certainly shouldn't be in the business of taking our money.

There's a few more legitimate duties, but we could get rid of about 95% of it and we'd all be better off.

Repeal the 16th and 17th!

3
Joesf23 3 points ago +4 / -1

I feel like this government went off the rails in the early 1900s.

3
War_Hamster 3 points ago +3 / -0

This actually deserves a better answer.

You had Robber Barons as far back as 1870. They were using their monopolistic wealth to bribe government policy way back then.

The Trust Busters would never have been able to break them up if the Senate was not representing the States at the time.

2
War_Hamster 2 points ago +2 / -0

1913 was a big date, but the Progressives were already ruining things a decade or two previously.

The original Progressives? The overeducated "elites" with nothing better to do with their time.

3
standonthewall 3 points ago +3 / -0

They actually brought back pork this year.

https://www.independentsentinel.com/swamp-critters-bring-back-big-pork/

It would be nice to do away with pork all together but if you haven't realized yet, they aren't going to fight fair.

1
OperationWetback 1 point ago +1 / -0

No. Pork spending is motivation for Senators, Governors and the rest to help democrats win... because they know the pork will flow with them in office.

To permanently do away with pork spending you would need to do away with what motivates pork spending to begin with... voting with no consequences for voting "incorrectly".

1
War_Hamster 1 point ago +1 / -0

The best way to do away with pork spending is to shrink the gov't and take away the piggy bank.

A lot is solved that way.

Remember, with a bigger government, not only is there more pork, but the added complexity makes it so much harder to get transparency.

19
CMDRConanAAnderson 19 points ago +19 / -0

No one talks about inflation anymore. When I was a kid a loaf of bread did not cost $4, a bag of chips was not $3-$4. It will get worse if we keep printing our problems away and that goes for Republicans too.

Just think. We aren't even getting 1/3 of our payroll taxes back to help us out after millions of jobs loss and businesses forced to close. Meanwhile the government has been open the entire time, wasting money while citizens go broke. Teachers have been getting paid, unions have been getting paid, along with failed cities who promote refugee sanctuary cities where refugees live better than 10s of thousands homeless on the streets trashing the environment like you wouldn't believe. Our military needs to stand up to this scam NOW!

7
Toughsky_Shitsky 7 points ago +7 / -0

Billy Barr sat around for 6+ months as the dems set up the election steal.

No monitoring of counting operations, no stings of dirty election supervisors, no infiltration of dirty operations.

NOTHING to prevent the theft of an American presidential election.

We all saw it happening in broad daylight, and many of us screamed for Trump to do something about it .. and all Trump did was tweet about it as it was being set up.

Cops on New Years Eve do more to stop drunk drivers (who they also know will be committing a crime) than Trump's DoJ did to protect an American Presidential election.

It's fucking pathetic.

Yup. We have no champ in our corner, but (((they))) will make us think we do so we stay complacent little subjects.

3

4
henri_derelicte 4 points ago +4 / -0

I’ll never understand why President Trump rolled over. As the military was rolling into DC on the 6th, that was the time he should have given Congress an ultimatum; certify him as President and receive the military’s protection, or he will hand them over to the angry mob.

Because the GOP are pussies, always were and always will be.

2
KMacsBinder 2 points ago +2 / -0

He did what was in his power. He refused to bail out democrat shit holes because they have been grossly mismanaged. Those Cities and States should fail because of shitty policy. Can you imagine if all of the money rightfully remained in each State instead of going to the federal government? There would be no mechanism for them to be bailed out. Responsibility must be forced upon those places because they will not take that responsibility on their own. Especially when they are being rewarded for failure. That is what we need to strive towards.

2
BlackPillBot 2 points ago +2 / -0

The same reason rand Paul fucked us on the wall funding. “MUH PRINCIPLES”

I give trump a pass on his first couple years in office. I think he genuinely thought he could get negotiate with them, and or force their hands by making them look as stupid and evil as they actually were, both the democrats and republicans. The problem is he didn’t know how deep and evil the swamp was, and the media covered for them and demonized him at every turn possible. There was no winning. I fault him for not going full retard with EOs once he saw and knew the game was obviously rigged. The only reason I can think he didn’t is that he thought it would hurt his chances for reelection, and was still worried about “MUH OPTICS” which as we all know is a mistake and will almost always be a chink in the armor of the moderate right/ many conservatives.

I love Trump overall, and think he is a good decent human being , albeit with flaws, but I think his biggest downfall like so many others, is that he cares, or at least cared too much about what people, including the wrong people think/thought about him. I put cared, because he’s definitely not silly enough to still think the same way as he did on this subject after what he’s seen the last five years, and how the election was stolen with no help from anyone including the Supreme Court. Anyone who pretends to not see how truly evil and deep the swamp is now, is part of the swamp.

2
FOUR_MORE_TERMS 2 points ago +2 / -0

Agree with everything you said. In a non Clown World, Trump would've been a roaring success that united the country. And I, too, give him a pass for a lot of stuff. But I just get unfairly bitter when I think about the potential and the opportunity he had and then look at where we're at. We needed Julius Ceasar. I guess the bright side is that Trump was the last true attempt to work within the system. So now we know.

It's just extremely unfortunate and unfair the agenda we are now part of. It's gonna take complete societal collapse to fix it. Which just fucking socks. But hey, I'm just eating popcorn.

2
BlackPillBot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, we all have to stop consuming so much IMHO. The one that pisses me off the most, but it’s local, is property tax. Such bullshit.

1
BlackPillBot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course you have a choice. Everyone does. The problem is many just won’t to keep kicking the can down the road while they are slowly boiled hoping that someone else makes a stand and somehow shit changes without them having to put themselves in and danger and at risk. Unfortunately, this is why nothing will ever change. I take that back. Shit will continue to change for the worse.

What we need is a large enough group of people who are in contact with each other on a regular basis to network, and make a stand together, and they must have legal representation at the ready at all times that is funded by all of us. We could easily start a sub forum here. Everyone would have to be on board to meet in person once every few months with attorneys who would be funded by people who wouldn’t choose to be directly involved at first. Everyone would have to bring all of their threatening paperwork from the federal government that you would most assuredly receive in order to prove that you truly do have skin in the game, and everyone is in this together.

I know the group would be infiltrated by the government like every other thing is, but it wouldn’t matter nearly as much because nobody would be advocating violence other than the federal government. It’s nonviolent resistance at its best. The best would be to speak to local conservative representatives if you have any, and get them on board once the group is somewhat cohesive, and see if they will speak with local LEO to get them to refuse to cooperate with the fed gov. I know this last point is probably far fetched and a pipe dream at this point unfortunately.

That's right! He should have promised everyone $2k per month for life! That would show those Democrats! /S

The whole Republican party, Trump included, turned to bitches because of covid hysteria. They never should've played into it. They should've let the left complain and whine and just ignore them. Daily briefings for this meme virus was ridiculously over the top. Half the country should've been completely open with no mask bullshit and no shutdown bullshit. Then we wouldn't even be having the stimulus conversation.

SF is totally fucked right now.

I live in the area, houses in that literal shit hole were selling for $1.7M, now that same house is $1.2, a tax basis loss of 30%

hodlmybeer 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep. The bill is Obama's Omnibus bill part 2. All the money is going to blue city corrupt governments to shore up the pensions and expand government.

That money isn’t bailing out the states it’s going into crooked politicians pockets!

2
annieS 2 points ago +2 / -0

Money laundering scheme. This is how all these politicians make their millions.

3
amir12 3 points ago +3 / -0

We should all stop paying federal income taxes

1
REDMARAUDER 1 point ago +1 / -0

Already stopped

3
RBFace 3 points ago +3 / -0

Maybe we should cut off the money supply?

3
VolareVia 3 points ago +3 / -0

Start minting your own non-fiat currencies. Currencies were originally made by merchants for merchants. We have a rightwing set of businesses, a rightwing set of websites, but what we're missing is rightwing currency.

Each and every thing that the House demoncraps ask for in bills comes back to them in kickbacks. This is the 2nd covid bill that the people get less than 10% of the total trillions of dollars asked for. Most of the money (tax payer money) goes to foreign countries that hate us and back in the dems pockets. If they wanted to bankrupt the America economy, they are doing a terrific job of it.

Each one deserves long prison terms for their anti-American stances, treason and sedition.

Trump would have demanded that all the Pork be cut out.

Oh wait he did!

That's why we didn't get the stimulus check last August... last September... last October.. maybe January.... I mean February... I mean March.... it's coming sometime right Joe?

It won't save them. I live in nyc and within the next year this city will be Detroit. Its crumbling fast and no amount of bailout will save this communism!!

Are you fucking kidding me?!

These people have to be literal retards, if they're gonna do something so obvious and bold, right after they stole a fucking presidential election!!

A smart person would lay low for a little while, at the very least. Let things simmer down a little. Give the peasants back a few of their rights that were stolen in 2020, under medical dictatorships. Then quietly take them away again, slowly, without them realizing it. This is what a slightly above average intelligence person would do....

These fucking dumb shit's greed is literally insatiable. They will stop at nothing!

1
yellowandrose 1 point ago +1 / -0

they will stop at nothing because every crybaby on the internet doesn't have the balls or the will to make personal sacrifice to stop them. it's the same thing as the old dennis the menace television show. that kid was the most phony obnoxious little faggot on television, but a clap track made him loved by millions. nobody had the balls to punch the little fucker in the head when he was a destructive asswipe squeaky voiced shitstain cocksucker.

"The $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package passed by the US Senate wipes out New York State’s projected budget deficit — possibly negating the need for hefty tax hikes or spending cuts, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s office said Monday."

Yeah... NYS doesn't have those hefty tax hikes because people OUTSIDE of NYS have to foot the bill.

TheContrarian2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Can you point me to the points in the bill where this is shown?

https://rules.house.gov/sites/democrats.rules.house.gov/files/BILLS-116HR133SA-RCP-116-68.pdf

I can't find it and I don't want to spout bullshit. It should be easy to find.

Succession is about the only answer. Let the blue states burn into nothing. Red states can succeed on their own.

2
AussieConservative 2 points ago +2 / -0

Red states need to secede, before democrats piss away all of their taxes.

American people get CRUMBS

2
Sliced_Beef_Brisket 2 points ago +2 / -0

It also includes $5 Billion, with a B, to go to black farmers in debt. No joke. https://www.businessinsider.com/black-minority-farmers-covid-relief-racial-discrimination-2021-3

2
Vashts1985 2 points ago +2 / -0

So we get crumbs?

4
KMacsBinder 4 points ago +4 / -0

You get $1400 that costs you roughly $5500. That's a pretty good return on investment.

2
Take_it_back 2 points ago +2 / -0

Secession!!!

Those cities will continue to raise taxes, as well.

1
Truglow 1 point ago +1 / -0

This should be renamed to “open states production tax”. I work in Florida and haven’t missed a day of work over this. So the federal taxes taken from productive workers will be given to these shit holes.

1
henri_derelicte 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s a blue state bailout. And the media has the nerve to frame this as how the Biden regime is being “compassionate” while unfairly comparing it to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

1
Monsterfan 1 point ago +1 / -0

Don't worry all our new Republican committeemen have promised to fix everything!

Californians should sue The Double Nasties for a refund, at least for the whiskey and weed. California is getting bailed but it's most of it's residents are getting screwed.
