There are lawyers who specialize in being weird.

There are defense attorneys who take horrible people, there are divorce lawyers who clean out the other spouse.

The nation needed and needs a cadre of lawyers KNOWN specifically to deal in hat-stealings, doxxings, firings for liking Trump, lawn sign stealings.

Lawyers who have wealthy backing, who are finely trained in exactly that, and won't get tired.

Sleep with the First Amendment, brush their teeth with the Second, and bathe in labor law, and in real estate discrimination law.

So how to have such?

You a central committee of them, with a few senior tigers who have seen it all, and who have means and position to say to the younger ones: don't worry. We have your back. We will make sure you work, or get professorships, or something.

One or two wealthy, quite wealthy, people need to care that free speech not die in America, and there just have to be a few who do.

Not every lawyer is loved. We need some of those.

The stolen election could sure have used a few wild beast lawyers.

And four years before it.

The night of Trump's inauguration was a hell fest of attacks on his supporters in evening clothes. And as nothing happened afterward, no lawsuits about that, with cameras everywhere, and insider tapes of the planners made too, it just went on without a break for four years.

There was no legal response at all. The common man was left on his own. He got scared. He started to accept that he had better be quiet or be fired. Or have his car keyed. Or be run out of restaurants, which happened to Sarah Huckabee Sanders herself. Or physically attacked. He had a family to feed. He shut up.

No lawsuits.

Why?

Because no one, rich enough to not give a damn, stepped up to fund a cadre of lawyers. And there are rich people who don't have to give a damn. You would have needed a few of them. A lot of money would have had to come into play. A lot.

Everyone thought it would be a bit of steam being blown off, and die down in a month or so. It did NOT DIE DOWN, and it continues now. THAT is why you could get SO MANY people to horse around, four years later. The mentality was changed.

The mentality was changed.

And nobody on our side realized that. We just couldn't wrap our heads around how deeply the mentality had changed. It just didn't seem possible.

This problem is four years old.

Catch-up ball is hard. But it might still be possible.

Can we get some lawyers on deck? Ten paralegals referring to one lawyer seems like a possible formula. Experienced lawyers don't want to take every phone call. But they have clerks and staff. To refer.
