It's their job to Protect the People from things we can't protect ourselves from. Example, Natural Disaster, Communist Chinese Invasion, etc. Our Taxes go to them for a reason. If I can't expect Water from the Gubermint, then I guess I want some Tax Money back. I understand we shouldn't rely on them for everything.
