The reality is that the culture was is fought on social media, and even a minority of voices can have a strong impact on the culture as a whole, as Twitter so sadly proves. Only around 8% of the population actually makes up the screeching mob on Twitter, and yet they seem to dictate the direction the ship of this nation moves toward.

For most of us, yes, it's better to step away. But the fight has many fronts, and many of us do our duty when we fight on social media in the meme war, have intellectual debates, or even those who simply work to create their own culture to serve as an alternative choice for people.... win hearts and minds in other areas... create culture from the ground up.

But again, the reality is that a small handful of voices can have a powerful impact on the nation as a whole, and due to that reality we cannot afford to give the misimpression that they represent all of us. Support our brave brothers and sisters who fight on social media to keep the enemy from acting as though we don't exist and their voices actually represent all of us.

I kinda agree, if the drum beat on social media is just progressive leftist, then it becomes laughable and will dissolve naturally... They want you to fight back, it keeps you on their platforms. Delete the Commies!

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I deleted my Twitter and Reddit years ago, and deactivated my FB (still have the messenger part for keeping in touch with family/friends still on it. Basically kids stuff or work.)

Life feels so much better. But I don't think we'd be better served dipping out entirely. For those that don't mind swimming in shit, I think those red pills are a necessary evil for those stuck in the matrix. That nagging gadfly that some of them actually turn and focus on eventually and suddenly start to realize that things don't add up and they actually go down the rabbit hole you've presented.

Some people need a bit more coaxing than others.
