And if they were black, they’d say we’re creating “slave” workers. We all know by now that no matter which way we go they’re going to find an angle that’ll get those precious rage clicks.

I for one want my factory to only employ robots that never arrive on time, never complete things within the required timeframes, walk at 1/3 of a normal pace, sit around complaining, can't carry anything other than a giant chip on their shoulders, and that can get me fired instantly for willfully misinterpreting a command.

Sounds like you don't respect cultural differences like CRT (colored robot time).

I remember reading an article about this that using white colored parts makes it easier to spot leaks or stress fractures. I have no idea if that is true.

it is. every detail is planned in technology, yes, things can be cheaper with some finishes, but in this case white is beneficial as hydraulic fluid is red and hard to see on black and any deformation of the frame is easier to spot with white than black which can hide cracks etc...

Also white doesn’t absorb heat, an issue with electronics.

because non pigmented plastics is cheaper than formulating a color that is consistent on test builds....See? This autistic deplorable knows more about the reasoning behind industrial design choices than the "experts" do.
