You forgot the Texican president: Sam Houston. But it's okay, he was never president of America, per se. I would include him for being more American in tradition than the majority of American presidents who took no part in actual warfare. Just an opinion

He was a great governor in my state and had things worked out a bit different for him, he very well could have been!
