The CDC cannot give orders or make laws. Every official at any level, anywhere, who uses the CDC as an excuse for the bullshit... should be called out loudly. The CDC has changed their tune constantly and been wrong about virtually everything.

If anything the CDC should be dismantled at this point.

Thanks. I've been really confused about these different levels of government and mask mandates. Even though, there are city and county mandates, they aren't really enforced much.

The Mayor here has a mask taskforce that she will send out if an individual or business continually gets reported. The businesses ignore her, then they write fines, then the businesses ignore the fines, then they continue operating like normal. It is all a farce.
