Yeah, maybe you want to keep an eye on your pyrometer if you crank your injector pump - it'll let you know when something's about to lose STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY. Kind of like an important I-beam in a hollow building becoming softer than it should.

THIS. this always has to be brought to the attention of the people that say jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt the steel beams.

I got tired of this BS story years ago. A little bit of history FYI: my uncle was an engineer and knew the Japanese guy that designed the building. He told me the guy was always uncomfortable with the "hollow" frame design because it was a lot weaker, but that's what he was ordered to design. Probably wouldn't have made a difference after getting hit by a half-a-million pound jet, but who knows?
