Maybe, but look at how late he is. I say this as a Texan. Why did Abbott wait so long? Why did it take Trump to build a wall? I've got my eyes on Abbott. I will watch closely. I really want Holsome, but if it's just going to divide votes and put in a dem governor, then I will yet again vote for Abbott.

previously it was a dangerous balancing act of maintaining some standards under onslaught of massive negativity. Push too hard and the negativity overwhelms, politicians even risk being pushed out if they are perceived as going too hard.

We went through a Russia! grinder for 4 years, a possibly-manufactured pandemic, a catastrophic election all while BLM set fire to the country and the media/big tech whipped up what's amounting to a cultural war. He's doing it NOW.
