Pretty sure in Islam, killing a non-believer isn't murder, murder is only when you kill another Muslim, and most of the time, killing the non-believer gets you no punishment.
Pretty much all crimes/sins in islam only count towards other muslims. The only exceptions are when it's a slave owned by another muslim. Then you just owe him some money.

I was referring to the person that did the hackey-hackey to the teacher. He should have his head forcibly removed. She should absolutely be punished for her role in fomenting a fake narrative that provoked this person to commit this heinous act also. So I'm not sure what tangent you're getting carried away on here but I don't think we're at odds on the fact that justice should be served.

Taqiyya is saying something that isn't true as it relates to the Muslim identity. This is a Shiite term. The Sunni counterpart is muda'rat.
Kitman is lying by omission.
Tawriya is intentionally creating a false impression.
Muruna is "blending in" by setting aside some practices of Islam or Sharia in order to advance others.

Western countries don’t have the death penalty anymore or else he would face it.
Unfortunately, the death penalty doesn't deter others. It does stop the murderer from murdering again which really is good enough.
