He may not have realized it was deliberate on her part but it will have triggered the fear that the same could happen. Meaghan certainly fed that fear. There’s a high probability that she was telling him she was afraid of being subjected to that level of media attention. She wanted that, to mind, and was trying to create it but for Harry it’s something quite different.

Just an fyi - Haznonuts was 12 when his Mother died ... & William was 15. Everybody seems to forget he lost his Mother as well.
