My wife and I were shopping for garden supplies at Northwest Seed and Pet, which is a regional chain to eastern Washington. This high school cashier with blonde pigtails stops us:

Pigtails: "Sir, you must wear a mask to shop here."

Me: "we're here to do business, not debate politics."

Pigtails: "That doesn't matter, you're not allowed in here if you're not going to wear a mask."

Me: "Look, I'm here to spend money, if you don't want to do business I'll just take my money and go somewhere else."

Pigtails: "Fine, go--we don't need your business anyway!"

Normally I try to shop local, but when the locals are cowards and communists, I'll go where we're welcome. We went and spent our money at the Home Depot. I then got Northwest Seed and Pet's phone number and called them up.

Manager: "Hello?"

Me: "Yes, I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I spent $150 dollars at the Home Depot that we would have spent at your business, but your cashier kicked us out for not wearing masks and proclaimed that your company didn't need our business. Good luck with that business model."

Hung up.

good work... most retailers in AZ 'require' a mask.. but only a few whack job businesses like traitor joes and blood bath and beyond actually enforce it...
