I just saw that Disney is canceling Dumbo, Peter Pan (which I actually thought would have pleased many folks), and the Aristocrats. My question to my husband (after my head exploded...yet again, was "Why isn't there a stopping point??" He replied, in all his wisdom, was "What makes you think there is one?". Dammit, there simply has to be one.

No problem. When it all gets too much, I read whatever i can get my hands on. Seriously, i read Tabers cyclopedic medical dictionary, first heavens sake. Cover to cover. I am 170 pages or more into Gray's Anatomy, the anatomy book, not the t.v. show adaptation. I've read the bible twice, working on a third. Three musketeers, hunchback of Notre dame, halfway into war and peace, you name it, I have read it or will at one point or another lol. Relaxes the mind. Prayers pede,have God blessed day

One may not have the time. One two hour film, and the point is made. But yes the book is more in depth.
However, agreed for people to see the film. You have seen the movie, you do the audio book or read it.
I should clarify. I have yet to read the book, I have been told it is more in depth. My father is one be b of those ones that when you watch the movie, and he has read the source material, he points out the inconsistencies. Forgive my misspeak. It's in the shelf. Just haven't picked it up yet. Sadly I have read atlas shrugged twice lol. But I kinda like happy endings

Audiobook is relatively short as well.
Might give that a shot. But I have always loved reading the authors work without another voice in my ear.
Can I suggest the audio bible NIV by max McLean from James through on to the end. I like to read as well, however it ties up the visual cortex. Audio allows you to see the words without being blinded by the texts. James & First Peter are very important right now.
I have a bunch of bibles. I have read the cultural background study bible NIV(an anthropological view of the text, timeframes, and archaeological finds) in its entirety. The American patriots bible NKJV, rainbow study bible NLV( I think, anyway, its color coded as to prophecy, law, parable, history, and the lovingness of God) also entirely. a KJV I got after graduation from my parents (took it with me to bootcamp lol) working through this one now. And the Wine Bible (used to work at a liquor store, was learning the product, also useful if you wanna know which grapes develop better in a limestone heavy soil if you're so inclined....lol) not a religious scripture.
That is great, however, I must still urge you to listen to audio. It is completely different in how you understand it.
