Post-Modernism. Good is bad, bad is good, tradition is oppressive, etc etc.

The point of modern "art"/architecture is to make "the work" look as bad as possible by traditional standards, which forces onlookers to jump through various hoops of mental-gymnastics to appear "cultured enough to understand the artiste's motivations" etc. It actually looks like hammered dogshit but Limousine Liberals will commit vulgar displays of flounce to virtue-signal about its supposed "artistic merit."
