Assume all major cities are blue spots. Look for small towns

176
spezisacuckold 176 points ago +177 / -1

Statistically speaking if a jurisdiction has at least 800 people per square mile in terms of population density, the jurisdiction will more likely than not vote Democrat.

So basically every city.

It's also just the nature of the collectivism disease. Once the actual labor that goes into making your life work is no longer visible in your daily life, you start to lose what's left of your connection to the rest of humanity.

Interesting study

22
MuricaQThroatpuncher 22 points ago +22 / -0

Also comes from the diversity disaster. People from different tribes occupying the same land aren't as invested in building a community up, so they're more likely to accept people who say the government will do it for them.

Dominion also put some of the cheat in the rural areas, tweaking Trump votes into Biden votes just enough to barely escape notice.

When do we start excommunicating these bullshit tabulators?

65
goldkeyboardwarrior 65 points ago +65 / -0

I think Oklahoma was the only state where not a single county voted for Clinton or Biden during the last two elections. That gives me great hope for Oklahoma City and Tulsa being two of the only major cities in the country that are based. Even Texas has Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.

28
OzarkianTrumper 28 points ago +29 / -1

NOT TRUE ... OK City proper is a shithole of leftism ... but fortunately there are enough burbs to outweigh those dicks.
Just gotta dodge honorific tornadoes and TONS of Muh BabyDaddies in both OKC and Tulsa ... hoards and hoards.
Why do you think "Cops LIVE" was broadcast from Tulsa every week for 4 years ... TONS of COP action chasing all them BabyDaddies!!!

3
kd5ywa 3 points ago +3 / -0

It was still 49.2/48.1 in Trump's favor for the last election. You didn't disprove a thing the guy said. And Tulsa was 56.5/40.1 in Trump's favor. Have you even looked at the numbers?

14
LesboPregnancyScare 14 points ago +14 / -0

what about WV?

24
goldkeyboardwarrior 24 points ago +24 / -0

I stand corrected, 100% of the counties in WV voted for Trump as well. They just need to vote out Manchin and put a MAGA Republican in his seat, and his impeachment votes should be the reason he doesn't get reelected.

BasedTemplar 9 points ago +9 / -0

We need like the hardest right, populist candidate we can get in WV. No excuses.

Ugh took a trip to harpers ferry a bit ago and its a disgusting leftist hellhole. I saw more blm signs per building than dc. But its not even a real town, i didnt get over to charles town a few miles down the road, maybe thats better? Ive also heard a lot of wv cities are college towns, so...

8
LesboPregnancyScare 8 points ago +8 / -0

Harpers Ferry is a tourist area due to the history and river raft services. Also the place where both MDers and VAers go for booze and tobacco.

2
DCdeplorable 2 points ago +2 / -0

You cant actually mean harpers ferry tho about the booze and cigs. Must be charles town... the only booze i saw was in bars and souvenir shops, and very inflated prices, and VA cig prices cant be beat

3
LesboPregnancyScare 3 points ago +3 / -0

eh maybe just MD-ers then, MD sucks in all aspects. Im thinking of Harpers Ferry, the city in the intersection of VA, MD and WV right? I remember there is a gas station, an Exxon there. Maybe it is in the VA side.

city

Why are people so attached to urban dystopia?

73
KX909 [S] 73 points ago +74 / -1

If you're single and haven't given up yet, cities present more opportunities for night life. If I had a lady friend, I'd be moving to the middle of the woods.

39
45willwinagain 39 points ago +39 / -0

You can drive to the city from the country if you feel you absolutley have to go there to find women.

i've spent most of life living on the outskirts and it has way more pro's than con's (in more ways than one).

bonus is when you do find yourself a a "lady friend" you can bring her out to a nice chill spot in the country where she feels safe enough to walk to her car without being raped by a savage crack monster.

a good chick enjoys a good bonfire.

9
MocksFordComma 9 points ago +10 / -1

28
christianknight 28 points ago +31 / -3

then get a lady friend and move to the woods. Or are you intending to find a lady friend at the club...

38
KX909 [S] 38 points ago +39 / -1

No, not a club. Nevertheless, having lived in both rural areas and a large American city, you encounter a lot more people in a lot of different contexts being in a city. Living in a very rural area, you don't really encounter anyone. Which is what makes it nice, right?

17
Atsgaming 17 points ago +23 / -6

Well yea but you probably have a higher chance to find the right people out in the "middle of nowhere" vs downtown bigcity

19
KX909 [S] 19 points ago +19 / -0

That's a valid point. I guess it's about finding the right balance. There need to be enough people to meet them but not so many that it becomes a hellpit full of promiscuous hipster womens.

11
randomusers239874 11 points ago +11 / -0

The honest truth is that the other guy is wrong. There are many more women and opportunities near and in a city, so if you're young you should definitely move to one. I'm a bit older but in the same boat, basically I can be a hermit in the middle of nowhere and never meet anyone, or give a southern city a chance. I was actually looking at Kentucky a bit, or maybe even Georgia.

1
HuggableBear 1 point ago +1 / -0

Stay the fuck out of Georgia. 100% of Georgia politics is dominated by Atlanta, which is a steaming shithole. Something like 75% of the population of the entire state is in 13 counties out of 159 and they're either fully urban or full of ridiculous soybois and their karens.

If you want to go somewhere that's still red, go to West Virginia or Eastern Kentucky. Live within an hour of a big city for convenience, but just buy a ton of land. You can still find land out there for $1000-1500 an acre. Buy yourself 100 acres of hillside facing the sunset, put a cabin on it, and go into town when you need groceries or w/e.

3
julianReyes 3 points ago +11 / -8

1

resturants

If you learn to cook for yourself and invest the time you can not only cook everything to YOUR specifications and create challenge dishes and recipes but you can make for yourself a constructive hobby to hone your skills and impress your friends. Restaurants count on you bringing your friends for a social gathering and convenience to make bank.

Really, a lot of businesses make bank off of social and ingroup pressure to spend collectively. Usually when I go to a restaurant it's to look at a menu and find a new dish to make.

Failing that you can just spam nachos if you're lazy.

10
conservativeyuppie 10 points ago +10 / -0

I'm a lady who's a decent cook, but I ain't spending a whole day just to cook Japanese ramen if that's what I'm craving. I go to restaurants as a treat once in a while to have something I wouldn't make at home.

1
DeplorableLadyPede 1 point ago +1 / -0

I love cooking. I like going to restaurants for the ambiance, the service, and the expert foodie-ness. You're talking like patronizing any type of resturant is a bad thing. Some of us like to get dressed up and go out because it's fun, not to impress others. I'm not talking about McDonalds, TGIFridays, or some other chain.

19
sentient-potato 19 points ago +20 / -1

Ah the luxury of being able to live out in the middle of nowhere.

Some of us have jobs to go to, kids to take to decent (private) schools and the need to be close to good hospitals because of said kids.

4
BigIronBigIron 4 points ago +5 / -1

Sounds like prison, or New Jersey

0
Cacciali_Via 0 points ago +1 / -1

Tens of millions work from home now and if you live in a rural area, you don't need private schools to protect kids from diversity.

1
sentient-potato 1 point ago +1 / -0

No, my children need an LD school which means we have to live in a major metro area.

Life is not all about what I want, it's about providing the best for my kids. I'd love nothing more than live in a rural place, but I have to wait 8 years for that. People's lives are complicated, simple solutions are just that.

I don’t get it either. Have two friends who moved downtown Chicago a few years back and said they will never go back to the Suburbs. But the city and the area they are is still ghetto and shitty. I just do no see the allure of living in a city. I like visiting cities and have lived on one before and I see very little go about it.

1
LostInUS 1 point ago +12 / -11

Why are "conservatives" so attracted to centuries old rural living, and if so attracted, why are you on the internet, using electricity, and maybe farming using gasoline or diesel powered equipment built in urban environments?

Conservative is not synonymous with Luddite. What you're espousing is basically depopulation on the scale of the worst of the globalists.

10
Yawnz13 10 points ago +13 / -3

They aren't attracted to that. Wanting to live in a small area does not equate to wanting to forsake modern technology etc.

-6
LostInUS -6 points ago +4 / -10

Wanting "everyone" to live in a place like that does imply exactly that. Or you're saying that everyone who wants to live like that is dependent on the good graces of the urban dwellers. A very weak argument. Maybe country living folks should put more effort into explaining why the two should be working together towards common goals.

6
Yawnz13 6 points ago +8 / -2

The only one presenting a weak argument is you.

No one's "wanting everyone to live in a place like that". That's you strawmanning. Even then, wanting people to live in small areas still does not imply that one wants to forsake modern technology. None of those things you mentioned require large, populous urban areas to be manufactured, nevermind the utter lack of evidence that the majority of those things are even manufactured in major urban areas.

"Maybe country living folks should put more effort into explaining why the two should be working together towards common goals."

Why should they when the "country living folks" do not require the urbanite in their lives whatsoever? Why should they put forth effort into something they do not need?

-6
LostInUS -6 points ago +5 / -11

So you're staying that conservatives are happy without electricity or fossil fuels (Maybelle, hook the plow up to yourself, and let's get that field ready.) The country living folks would either expire or be back to subsistence farming in no time without the modern world. Only fools and glowies would try to argue that anything even remotely related to current tech can exist in such a world. Utterly laughable and completely antithetical to the science of economics

3
Repentnow 3 points ago +3 / -0

Please show me the city that has oil rigs or coal mines downtown.

1
Yawnz13 1 point ago +1 / -0

How am I saying that at all? The only person even attempting to steer the argument that way is you.

No cities are required for modern technology. Precisely zero of the current infrastrucutre would magically disappear if the (most or even all) populations of the large cities did.

At this point, you're glowing because of both the heavy metals in your diet AND from the obvious left-wing rhetoric. "HURR DURR SMALL TOWN PEOPLE ARE ALL BACKWARDS AND DUMB HURR"

-6
LostInUS -6 points ago +2 / -8

Weak argument. Yes, the country living folks do need the urbanites if they want internet, electricity, etc. Lousy response, glowie.

1
Yawnz13 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not weak at all. Electricity does not require urban areas in order to be produced, and is more than likely not predominantly produced in urban areas.

Same with the internet, etc. The only person glowing here is you, but not because of any implied Fed involvement. More like from all the heavy metals in the paint you swilled down as a kid.

When I go to any mid sized city I do the mall test. I wander around one day during the week for a few hours and on a Saturday for a few hours and study the people. Knoxville passed the test two years ago when I was there. The people seemed normal and cheerful. It seemed like a throw back to my town back in the 1980s.

KX909 [S] 18 points ago +18 / -0

Awesome strategy and response! This is very helpful, thanks.

Maybe wear a MAGA hat around town and no mask and see if you get assaulted or thumbs up?

9
KX909 [S] 9 points ago +9 / -0

Hahaha that would be a good test. Might have to reserve it for a man braver than me though.

4
Donger-Lord2 4 points ago +5 / -1

Just conceal carry and shoot them dead when they attempt to assault you.

6
Urusovite 6 points ago +6 / -0

Pretty sure in TN you can open carry right? I'm in Texas, but I am almost certain TN is one of the most gun-friendly places in the country.

5
Donger-Lord2 5 points ago +5 / -0

In this case you’d conceal carry to see if any leftist commie fags wild try to assault you. That way you can put them down instead of scaring them off with an open carry. But yes, Open carry is legal in Tennessee.

3
Urusovite 3 points ago +3 / -0

Really wish Texas would get with the program on that front

2
dakin116 2 points ago +2 / -0

We’re trying to pass no gun permit for carry right now, hopefully they don’t cuck to Nashville

When I planned on moving I would first go to a laundromat that is local to my new home and do a small load of clothes while reading a book. During the 2 hours I would check out what kind of characters would come in, knowing that they probably lived nearby. Also, I shopped at the local supermarket for 30 minutes to check out who is there. If I didn't like what I saw then I would check another neighborhood before committing to moving.

6
Darkheartisland 6 points ago +6 / -0

A supermarket is the best tell of a neighborhood. You can see if it is upmarket on whether or not they lock up the condoms and cosmetics.

3
400DollarHandcart 3 points ago +3 / -0

Good idea but it in rural cities, even biggish ones like Knoxville regular folks don’t go to landry mats.

2
Annpi 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wait.... I've been to many many many washaterias/laundrymats.... ALL had single moms with their 20+ unleashed kids running around. Do decent laundry mats exist???

6
guitarmastershredder 6 points ago +6 / -0

Go to a few churches near where you are thinking about living. Talk with the locals.

2
_-Th0r-_ 2 points ago +2 / -0

IIRC, the Knoxville city mayor is a Dem, but the Knox County mayor is Glen fucking Jacobs, the former WWE wrestler. Libertarian-leanings.

I considered the town a while back. Generally speaking it’s a university town in the south, so it can be a swing city.

However, no shortage of based patriots, and you are right outside the smokies. Tons of opportunities to enjoy God’s creation.

Head further east to smaller towns like Kingsport and Johnson City, and you probably have all-Republican elected officials.

9
GaTechGrad 9 points ago +9 / -0

Knox Center (aka East Town) mall was shut down about a year ago because it became a hangout spot for thugs. West Town has gotten a lot worse over the years.

8
CoreyAnder 8 points ago +8 / -0

2

THIS!

3
chickensoup 3 points ago +3 / -0

Our mall is like that until about 4 or 5 pm. Then the bad folks rule

2
Libertynfreedom4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

No one in my area goes to the mall, it’s probably going to be torn down to be honest, even tho it’s nice. But this is a good idea. I would walk around the main areas on both weekdays, evenings and busy weekends and see what happens

Knoxville is fun. But Oxford is much better if You want based. Knoxville is beautiful, Oxford has its own traditions. Both are pretty cool but Oxford hands down much more based

8
TopperBlack 8 points ago +8 / -0

out of interest, could you provide an example of why Oxford is better? Or just why it's different.

Aussie pede here, just looking to learn more.

7
WU_HAN_FRU 7 points ago +7 / -0

Oxford is small. It makes Knoxville seem big. Not many great jobs here.

I honestly think people in the town limits of Oxford are more cucked than the ones in Knoxville. Every neighborhood in Oxford is infested with college students, whereas Knoxville has much more segregated neighborhoods. If you buy a house in Oxford, your neighbors are likely to be renters, even in the nicer areas.

Both have very beautiful women.

I lived in a relatively wealthy area of Knoxville, and I would say the cost of living in Oxford is about 20% higher, even though the median income in Knoxville is much higher.

I actually prefer Knoxville, but I'm very curious as to what the other guy here who's lived in both towns has to say.

3

No, liberals from the surrounding areas have been flooding to Knoxville since it's a larger city and it's turned quite liberal.

There are smaller cities though that are based around that area though. So if you want to go to Knoxville for any reason it's an hour or so away.

I mean it is relatively peaceful in most places but the places that are nice are infiltrated with liberal garbage.

17
julianReyes 17 points ago +19 / -2

I knew somebody from TN who was a straight stereotype of a soyboy, for people who think it's just a dumb Discuck meme. It really isn't.

Fat and corpulent, at least 200 lbs.

Barely broke 20 years of age.

Made a stupid, vapid numale grin at me when he "bragged" about supporting Bernie, as if it was shorthand for being a Mensa member.

Brayed proudly about being an atheist. When I probed further he admitted he took that "worldview" on as a (puerile) reaction to his parents' Christian values.

Cited Dan Brown conspiracy theories when I tore his ass apart about Christianity's role and contributions to the science he "trusted" ("t-the Founding Fathers were Deists, see, the dollar bill says 'Novus ordo seculorum,' 'New Secular Order'"). Like holy fuck he tried to use Angels and Demons as an argument and he legitimately forgot that Gregor Johann Mendel existed.

I legit could deconstruct his character within five minutes of talking to him. It took me less time than that to dismantle his shallow character completely in a debate and had him pivoting to "l-let's not talk about politics, let's talk about Marvel instead" temerity.

3
Yawnz13 3 points ago +4 / -1

Sounds about right. I'd wager most (90%+) atheists under the age of 40 are simply mad at mommy and daddy for taking them to boring church for an hour or two or three every Sunday.

I have lived all across the country. There are hundred of things to consider. Crime, Police response, taxes, The people, Environment, Social constructs etc. But 1 simple thing give you a huge sign of what the city is about. 1 simple thing to determine if the city is a good place to live or not.

Parking meters.

If the city has even one. This tells you everything you need to now what the city is about. I never travel to or live in or work in any city with Parking meters.

this tells you everything you need to know about city officials and what they think of you.

12
KX909 [S] 12 points ago +12 / -0

Nice, that's a very interesting observation. Will have to keep that in mind going forward.

9
xxx-zodiac 9 points ago +9 / -0

Parking meters means he city is out for $. It will mean read light cameras, Parking tickets. Toll roads, tow trucks, High taxes, High Sales tax or income tax or both, and every other way they can think of to milk you.

6
xxx-zodiac 6 points ago +6 / -0

I had a good job offer across the state. I google mapped it and found it had parking meters out front and no parking for the business. I canceled my interview just on that.

I'd say most cities around TN are more based than not, except for maybe Nashville.

19
Ladyyyliberty 19 points ago +19 / -0

Memphis is actually a lot worse than Nashville. Franklin and Brentwood keep Nashville pretty purple.

5
Hattmall 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah but no one would seriously consider memphis anyway, it just flat out sucks in every possible dimension. The only cool thing about memphis is going to "yard sales" to buy handguns and bootleg leather goods.

16

Or Memphis.

5
MageGills 5 points ago +5 / -0

My cousin was a cop in Nashville. A jogger tried to pull a gun on him and my cousin shot him in self defense. The liberals in the city ruined his life and protested him for years afterwards. His wife left him and took the kids because of all the death threats and his depression from the city trying to railroad him.

6
KonyHawk_ProSlaver 6 points ago +6 / -0

That's just most mid to large cities in America at this point.

5
KoolKoolWater 5 points ago +5 / -0

I find that kind of surprising. I did an internship in Nashville and I was surprised at not only how insanely friendly it was, but how much more overtly conservative it was in comparison to OKC.

3

I spent a week in Knoxville just before the China virus. The city leadership is not based. The local college is very much not based. The people in the surrounding areas and many that work in the city are very nice and decent folks.

You could do worse, but you could do a lot better.

That city feels like the epicenter of the culture war. The city council is run by left wing nutties. However, the Anderson county mayor is conservative and fights for the people. There have been a few clashes between the two sides over the past year over mask requirements, having fourth of July fireworks, and other things. Also, lots of blue state transplants started moving there as well over the past few years. However, there are quite a few mom-and-pop businesses around town. They generally don't tell their politics, but if you get to know them, they will tell you that they are big Trump supporters.

Knoxville has become more and more leftist over the years. Old City, Market Square, and Gay St are really bad. However, if you go over to Cumberland Ave near campus on Friday night, there are lots of college kids who don't wear masks. Farragut is the upscale portion of Knoxville, which has also become more left.
Some of the surrounding cities like Clinton, Harriman, and Rockwood are nice. Reminds me of the small town I grew up in Georgia back in the 80s.

Look and see if it has a Republican or dem mayor. If it’s a dem, you know it’s a blue shithole.

Shockingly simple advice. Now I gotta test it out.

Anywhere where there is diversity, and that diversity is not Asian or indian, that city will be a shit hole. Hispanic, black, African and Muslim diversity always create shit holes.

You might want to consider Cookeville, TN - a smaller town about 2 hrs east of Knoxville along I-40.

It's a college town. Tennessee Tech is located there so it doesn't close at 6PM like a lot of others. Beautiful countryside, lots of waterfalls in the area and probably 80% Republican (judging from all the Trump signs I saw before the election). Nice little town.
