Can anyone tell me if Knoxville, TN is based? I'm looking for a midsize city with things to do at night but without the filth, trash, degradation, crime, and corruption of all the wonderful blue fuckhead cities.

Good info, thanks. Definitely feel free to throw out any of the "betters" that come to mind. I'm open to different spots, just so's they're not on the coasts! Well, the left coast and the northeast, at least.
