I spent a week in Knoxville just before the China virus. The city leadership is not based. The local college is very much not based. The people in the surrounding areas and many that work in the city are very nice and decent folks.

The Texas hill country South and West of Austin from San Marcos to Boerne. The economy is booming, lots of jobs, no state income tax. Trump country Texas.
