Reminds me of a news article some time back. Basically some pro-Democrat organisation created a shitton of "local" news sites to influence red and swing states. Kinda sounds just like that.
In this case, companies like USA Today bought up a bunch of local papers. They all use the same, user-unfriendly layout. I think that’s who owns these papers.
