Sounds crazy to do it so soon, but I'm imagining from their perspective ... Why not?

There is nothing more they need or want from his withering carcass. They did all of the rhetorical ground work already. Joe even said he wanted a VP who would be ready to take over on day one... Something like that.

Another time he said he might just get sick of some disease and have to hand it over. Just paraphrasing.

So they can flop him out there and have him ready a simple fluffy resignation speech. Then the media will lavish praise and shift the narrative to the historic rise of Kamala.

... But more likely it'll just be more invented words and racist blunders.

I've heard this before. But they don't even play that game anymore. HR1 will end their concerns about all that tedious elections work. They crap on every rule. This is about going fast for them. They can't wait to install her.

true, Joe is burning the candle at both ends issuing EO after EO, getting everyone all riled up quickly. But if the federalization of elections does not stick, in swing states particularly, they will have to use their backup plan.

But for now the 2022 mid term and 2024 elections do not matter.

I agree. I'm in the 'Lin Wood' camp on the elections topic. If 2020 is not resolved then no future election matters.

its not an opinion. unless election integrity is restored, further elections do not matter in the US.
