Of all the consumer habits I've changed because of wokeism, this one is going to be the most enduring. I really have no interest in current sports anymore. I'm a huge sports guy by nature, and like an alcoholic who has a spiritual experience that relieves him of the obsession to drink, I've lost all desire to watch this shit. I'm not white-knuckling it or feeling the pain of a boycott or anything like that. American sports is vile trash to me now and I want nothing to do with it.
If based sports leagues start popping up, they'll give the major sport leagues a run for their money.
I used to watch MLB almost daily during the season, travel to FL for spring training, attend at least one game each season and was willing to spend good money for playoff tickets.
By Mid-May I had totally forgotten about baseball and accidentally discovered it was back by leaving the radio on the local Red Sox affiliate which carried Rush during the day. I tried watching but the cardboard cutouts and fake fan nose were too much. I haven;t watched one game since and realized I don’t miss it. It was more of the pretend "normalcy" than the woke BLM stuff but both played in to my decision.

I'm with you. Lifelong athlete and huge sports fan. No more, and I don't even miss it. My quality of life has improved.
And I'm a Padres fan, and gave them up right before their most exciting season in ages.
