Every illegal coming Into the country illegally is a threat to national security. If they weren't a threat they would go through legal access points.

I saw a post on askreddit last week that was clearly someone looking for advice on how to sneak across the border from Mexico (he was claiming to be a US citizen who lost all identification and couldn't go to the consul but eventually admitted to being an attempted illegal). I was pleasantly surprised by how based the responses were. Not one person gave advice on getting passed the wall, and one of the top comments was "go home, we don't want you"

I think it's polling pretty badly now, too. Americans who have been locked down for a year and have lost their jobs don't want a bunch of illegals coming in.
