He became anti-trump after the entire Brietbart pedophilia thing that resulted in him getting deplatformed and resigning. After that he just kept complaining that it’s Trump’s fault that his life is ruined and hasn’t shut up since.

The reality is that many of the prominent right-wing commentators and personalities are just neocons and libertarians who grift the guy in power and abandon ship when it’s over.
