Eh... I think it's a bit more fundamental than that, like akin to a naturally occurring hormonal imbalance where some guys produce too much estrogen and some gals produce too much testosterone... thus homosexuality.

Everything after that is degeneracy.

Doctors continue to deny that hormone imbalance contributes in any way, but if that is the case, why don't trans people magically transition based on what they would like to happen? Nope, hormone blockers and surgery is needed and then...more hormones are needed. I'm not saying this is applicable to only the trans community, or that it is the only reason someone might fall on the LGBTQ spectrum, but I am saying that to completely disregard hormones as a factor is ridiculous and not based in science.

The only way to get an XX male (or XY female) is by having the genetic code on the Y chromosome that makes a human male present on an X chromosome (XX male) or missing from the Y chromosome (XY female).

In other words, trans and homosexuality need to be looked at separately from the trans thing because there's some stuff in the genetic code that will still construct things within the body as clearly male or female... meaning that forcing a gender transition can't happen without modern technology, and we're still not at the point where the transition is anything other than a mutilation because there's no way to create testes and ovaries that produce the correct hormones, let alone new sperm or eggs.
