We're hoping the same. Not really doing gigs anymore. We just record music these days. There are really too many bleeding hearts out there. In the midst of a fake pandemic I can barely stand being around people anymore. I actually just bought 11 acres in the middle of nowhere with my girlfriend. We move on April 9th. It's got a nice little house on it away from everything. That's what I want.
Oh shit there you go! Make sure you get a well pump going and if you have pets get them on flea/tick medication as wild animals WILL bring fleas to your place. Also make sure to find out if it floods where you're located and can get out...when you're in the boonies NOONE is coming till its over. Id also suggest a generator as us country folk are the last groups of people electric companies will fix in storms. I was out 2 weeks with no electricity and I wouldn't wish that on anyone trying to sleep in your sweat.
I have a giant life list that I have created of everything we need. It does have a well, but the electric is connected to the grid. The generator I'm looking at buying is about 1k. I am trying to learn to be completely self-sufficient.

throw in some kids and some crops and you'll have it made.
Got one due October 15 and have 300 dollars worth of seeds that I bought this February sitting in my pantry.
Fuck yeah, congrats.
Thank you!
