Sounds like you're one of those who likes Christian values without embracing the faith. I'm pretty sure that's allowed. Living a good life is the one thing we can control.
I am there too. I wanted to believe but was turned off by various organized religions. Largely to various scandals and the media putting them on blast.
I start to just crack open a bible and ignore all the shit. Mix with good people (judged by their actions not by their virtue). Then I realized the controversial characters were just social justice warriors cloaked in cloth.
Seems to be working for me. Find your own path to Jesus. The lord and savior.

I was raised Catholic. I haven't practiced much as an adult but I generally liked the doctrine. I've become really annoyed with Pope Francis and the church as a while with how liberal its becoming.
Now I'm reading the bible to develop a better understanding and maybe find a new church from there.
Pope Francis is like two crises away from inventing a new sacrament, “Transchristening”. Laugh now but remember I said it later. Was also raised Catholic and do not like this pretender.
