MathGrad studying for his PhD in applied math that also went to seminary school and lead christian grad group had full access to tons of world religion study from other theologians was my roommate.
Studied a lot of what he studied just for fun, and because this guy was all around based only thing we disagreed in was faith and the spiritual. So for me, after hours of study and discussion all the time for a few years a lot of questions got explanations and a lot of explanations hold because they are based on sound logic.
The bible is fucked halfway and humans have fucked church and religion for the most part. But I encourage you, if you have the time and will to spare you should also study world religion and christianity, deeply and formally. It gave me much to consider across the last 4 years or so and to me now, there is more truth in christianity than in atheism, or any religion for that matter.
There is so much though. And a shallow review of only pieces of the religion will not hold. There is a story within the story about where we are at in 2021 with regards to what we know about christianity.
Let me leave you with a little bit of my own personal craziness that I think may get some people here at least red pilled a little bit about christianity and it's actual truth that is firmly based in logic for the most part, except for the individual choice of faith. That's where most people get hung up. The faith part because that's an individual choice and it must be that way. But to go on to my little red pill I just want those that consider themselves very logical to ruminate on this for awhile. Hopefully without looking like a nut job. Hopefully some find meaning in this
-1=1 is false. It will always be false right? We can add any number equally to both sides and it will be still be false.
We can subtract, divide, or multiply any number to both sides and it will be false. We can do so many things to this equation and it will evaluate false.
But eventually as time goes on if you keep looking at it you realize that a particular operation applied to both sides will make the equation evaluate true.
-1²=1² True
So you have this equation that logically evaluates to be false and by all means seems to be always false in most every case. But if you apply a particular operation, equally, to both sides the equation becomes true.
So in this way, things that are false can become true. But once something is true it will always be true, if you have the knowledge to understand why.
Postmodernism bad.
Objective morality good.
