The point here is not in the number of schools, but that in any one school enough people are having serious enough side-affects to force the school to shut down.
And many are just preemptively closing now because they know this is the reality. Could have posted another batch of articles saying things like "school will be closed for three days as teachers receive their vaccines and side-affects are known to be common."
